Data collected and purposes

Your full name, work email, company and optional message are used solely to respond to your request and arrange a MAISALES demo. There are no newsletters, promotional campaigns or profiling. Name, email and company are required to identify the contact, respond and understand the context of the demo: the form cannot be submitted without these fields. You may also contact the controller directly by email. Please avoid sensitive information or other people’s personal data in your message.

We also record the request date, a technical identifier, the site and privacy notice versions, the language of the request and the registration and notification status to manage submissions, respond in the appropriate language and avoid duplicates.

Legal basis

For requests made in a personal capacity: steps taken at the individual’s request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For company representatives: the controller’s legitimate interest in responding to the organisation’s enquiry and arranging the requested discussion (Article 6(1)(f)). Legitimate interest also supports the technical checks needed for correct operation and security. Consent for promotional purposes is not requested because no such purposes are envisaged.

Processing and recipients

The form transmits data over HTTPS to Google Apps Script, which records it in a private Google Sheet and sends a notification to the controller’s Gmail inbox. Operational access to the sheet is restricted to Massimiliano Fiorelli. The data is not published or publicly disclosed.

We use Google for processing, storage and email, and Netlify to host the online site. We do not use Netlify Forms. Providers may process technical data needed to operate and secure their services. The Google account used is a personal account: Google Workspace terms are not assumed to apply.

International transfers

Providers may use infrastructure outside the European Economic Area. Google describes its use of adequacy decisions, the Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, standard contractual clauses on its international transfers page. Netlify provides its privacy notice and applicable hosting terms. You may ask the controller for information about the safeguards applicable to your data.

Retention

We retain requests for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and demo, and no longer than six months after the last contact relating to the demo. At that point, data is deleted from the sheet and the notification emails managed by the controller. If a contractual relationship develops, the data needed for that relationship will be processed in accordance with the relevant purposes, obligations and privacy notice.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing. Where applicable, you may exercise data portability and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to massimiliano.fiorelli@maisales.it. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante) or another competent supervisory authority. We do not make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Browsing and the lab

The site does not include analytics, advertising pixels or application cookies, and does not store form data in persistent browser storage. Servers may process IP addresses and technical logs to deliver and protect the service, in accordance with providers’ settings and policies; the controller does not use them for profiling.

The forecast lab uses fictional data and runs in your browser. It does not automatically send data to AI services. Copying and downloading a scenario are actions you initiate; any subsequent use in an AI service is your choice. LinkedIn links open external sites with their own privacy notices.
